The city by the Little Belt

Fredericia was built as a fortress to defend Denmark against Sweden - and later on Prussia. You can still see the canons on the well-preserved ramparts and get a good feeling of how it was back then. Furthermore, Frederica is a lively harbour and shopping town which - until recently - had its own shipyard. Around Fredericia there is beautiful nature and a long coast line.
